It a good and reliable app for friend to have better conversation and I love the fact that it’s ask for verification before adding new contacts

The one factor that gives me peace in my meagre use of chip technology is the Signal capacity to keep “listeners” from having access to the data; friends and family, banking conversations, or any online remark remains myself and whoever I call and text! It’s an oasis of peace in an otherwise hectic info collecting world. I thank my lucky stars daily that I have an opportunity for me to do and say what and do all I wish w/out having to act as a double agent in my own life’s choices. I need assistance for this issue ASAP As it’s not working and I may still yet have to Go back to an older download. This is unreal by Apple for one, secondly I have never had this much trouble with Anything and I am a retired paramedic who worked with Autistic Algebra Students as a secondary career!!

I’ve contacted them so many times about a repeating issue. I get an auto reply back saying it’s “not the latest version” so I download what they link me to, try again, and it’s still an issue. This has been a week now. I’m unable to communicate w people I need to be able to communicate with. It’s very unsafe. I’ve yet to be able to actually get help from an actual human rather than auto reply. Suuuuuuper disappointing

Poor placement of the TRANSMIT button makes accidentally sending a message much too easy when writing or editing it.

If you’re looking for an alternate to META products, this is one of the best. It could use some advancements, like META’s messenger’s features, but I hope the improvements are forthcoming-

Both parties will need a tremendous amount of available cell service to keep a decent phone conversation from loss of basic functionality.

Very good but we need Picture in Picture for videos call , we need add or remove someone from video or voice group call . Reply to pictures with stickers , better video quality , multiple accounts.

Love the app so far but just got my first Spam from and unknown number.

Nothing is free. No data is secure. This app is not free out of the goodness of their hearts. They’ve got to make money somewhere. So what are they getting from you if you don’t have to pay a subscription. Data. If it’s not secure enough to share government data, then the data isn’t secure, particularly not from the government that won’t use it.

Pls on your next update pls help us update signal app to let us know when someone block us and most especially let us know when someone is online indicate it on the chat for use to know when they are online pls

This is an ipad app, and youre expected to scan the screen to pair it. The screen is strapped to your face. I’ve found airplay to a tv, come in real close to the window, while slowly waving the phone around is the way to do it. Other than that, works great lol

I love this app over all others but the Connection is not always reliable texting and video calling to the UK from the U.S. in the Pacific Northwestern states, is sometimes stuck where nothing gets out or received for days. Would like to know if there is a fix for this? Suggestions appreciated.

It a good a cool app trust me on this

1. Notifications don’t go off. 2. When filtering Media, it doesn’t have an option to filter files (PDF) on iOS. For Android it does.

The app is good. If you want to message people it works. Not many flaws. Some annoyances: Wont stop asking for my pin at the bottom of my messages every few days though it wont stop working if I never interact with it. Maybe remove that. Minor glitches like name of contact disappearing from top of screen sometimes in a chat. Other then that its solid. Safe enough for the government to feel confident to share war plans, sorry attack plans so you should feel confident too

The best channel to text private messages with the family

So when you log out. You cant log back in with all the messages you had before. They’re basically gone. You should be able to log in and log back out WITH your messages still there.

Need to send your buddy war plans and military strikes, this is the app you can count on

Man this app is absolutely perfect for sharing the EXACT coordinates where I’m planning to launch a missile at Yemen with all the other government officials😂✌️

They see everything

I mean literally organize my chats. Why is there no separation between groups and individuals? I desperately want a way to keep my feed less cluttered, please!

The messaging part works as advertised but it is annoying and I see the same invasive tactics that big tech companies use to increase their user base. Constantly prompting to access contacts after not being allowed, begging to be shared and spread around, and other such guerrilla strategies for “growth” sounds awfully similar to what all other problematic social media companies do, and not what a private reputable messaging app should do. Also, despite adding support for username they still require a phone number to sign up, which doesn’t really improve things much.
